Happy 2013! Hope y’all are enjoying your holidays. I know I am. Well, sort of. I’ve just been working everyday with barely any time for myself. And the little time I’ve had for myself, I spent it shopping. Where? Victoria’s Secret. It’s my new found obsession.

For a long time, I thought Victoria’s Secret bras were overrated and overpriced. But after purchasing my first one, I’m in love.

Their bras may be expensive but they’re oh so comfy. And they amplify my boobs by a lot. What else could I ask for?

And did I mention they’re pretty? Love lace!

What do you get when you mix velvet and a little black dress? Two of my favourite things! I am obsessed with my new ‘Velveteen Skate Dress” I purchased from Forever 21 earlier this week. It’s super comfy and perfect for the holiday season! Now all I need are velvet tights…anyone know where I can get a killer pair from?

I’m going to New York later this week for Teen Vogue Fashion University (promise to tell you all about it once I return) and I just so happened to find the perfect city bag for the event – not that I really needed one. Every time I look at it, I think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I can’t even remember if she carries a purse…

But it was love at first sight so I just had to purchase it! And yes, it’s from Zara. I’m not THAT obsessed, I promise. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

This is probably one of the first H&M collaborations that I am super excited about! 

Anna Dello Russo has designed an exclusive accessories line for H&M – but you already knew that. The limited-edition collection is launching this Thursday, October 4th!

If you haven’t seen the collection yet, I suggest that you do so immediately!

The one thing I love about the collection are its colours. The main colour scheme is Tiffany blue and gold. But she mixes it up with green and orange as well.  Oh, and the pieces are adorned with gorgeous reptiles and a zebra, which was a neat touch in my opinion.

If you haven’t noticed already, I’ve been a little obsessed with skulls this season. And today I found another gorgeous item to add my collection: a flocked skull sweat! “You know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast?” (Confessions of a Shopaholic) Well that’s what it was like when I saw this velvet masterpiece. Top Shop is officially my new favourite store.

My second purchase today was a Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop case – finally! I had a pretty hard time picking a colour but this one was just so vibrant, I had to get it.

An overgrown sweater screams comfort. And I am so glad they haven’t gone out of style. Not only are they comfy, they look stylish enough to wear to a fashion show. Well, maybe. Depends on how you style it! As I continue to embark on my journey to fulfill my autumn 2012 needs, I came across this gorgeous sweater with a spike collar at Zara. Not only does it feel great on, but it looks fabulous!

My sister was like “first the neon blazer and now this? Where are you gonna wear it?” My response: “Anywhere. School…at home even.” I mean, dressing up isn’t a crime. Wearing outrageous things isn’t a crime either. It’s not that outrages, is it? But lets be real, I could care less if it is.

Autumn is my all time favourite season for shopping/fashion. Summer is great but there is nothing like layering up with blazers, overgrown sweaters and, of course, scarves. I probably own ten pairs of scarves and don’t really need any more; but I’m only human and get bored of things far too easily. So, I decided to start shopping for my autumn 2012 wardrobe early since I don’t really have anything better to do with my time/my non-existent cash flow.

As you may already know, I am obsessed with Zara and can’t go in there without buying something. I walked in there two days ago and fell head-over-heels for this multi-skull and stud scarf. Best of all, it’s black and grey, two of my favourite colours! Oh, and it’s soft.

This whole myth that stripes add more weight to your body is bogus! You just gotta find the right kind of stripes for you. And honestly, I am obsessed with this summer trend. Especially when it comes to striped pants. Not only are they adorable and chic, they add that bold and daring element to your look. I recently just bought a pair of red and white striped pants from Zara for only $19.99! What a steal! Now, I am on the lookout for a classic black and white, side striped pants!

Time to pack up the nudes and blacks (as hard as that may be) because summer is all about colour! As much as I love the bold tones, I have a soft spot for pastels this season! The light lime greens, aquatic tones and the soft peaches remind me of Marie Antoinette and french macarons.

My wardrobe is in need of some serious colours. Black, beige and white will not do this season. So I went out and bought a few colourful things to add to my closet.

Pastels are so in right now!

Minty skinny-jeans from H&M – $29.99

L’Oreal Paris nail polish in ‘club prive.’ $5.99

Vintage bracelet I bought in Chicago a couple of years ago. $25

Fluorescents are a must! I saw this little purse and fell instantly in love with it! I am obsessed with the colour and the gold chain adds a little glamour to this very simple design by Calvin Klein. – $59.50

Now I just need some fun colourful wedges and flats, and then I’ll be good to go!
