This is probably one of the first H&M collaborations that I am super excited about!
Anna Dello Russo has designed an exclusive accessories line for H&M – but you already knew that. The limited-edition collection is launching this Thursday, October 4th!
If you haven’t seen the collection yet, I suggest that you do so immediately!
The one thing I love about the collection are its colours. The main colour scheme is Tiffany blue and gold. But she mixes it up with green and orange as well. Oh, and the pieces are adorned with gorgeous reptiles and a zebra, which was a neat touch in my opinion.

Canadian Tire, Lifeclass, MTCC, OinTO, Oprah Winfrey, OWN, Toronto
Thousands of people lined up outside the Metro Toronto Convention Centre today for Oprah’s Lifeclass | the Tour. The lineup went around at least three blocks. It was insane!
I left my house at approximately 5:30 a.m. to make it downtown in time to pick up my tickets at 6:30 a.m., since I won a contest. I was seated by 7:30 a.m.
I had decent seats, however I couldn’t see the stage which sucked. So I had to settle for the screens that were put up but I was honestly just lucky to even be there. The tour was completely sold out and so I decided to join a bunch of contests and won the secondary prize from Canadian Tire.
But then something magical happened. I wasn’t even expecting it.
Oprah Winfrey walks out from the side door which was right beside me. I was completely speechless as she walked up to me and took my hand and said “Hi. Thank you for coming!” And I just stood there saying, “OMG OMG OMG!” And then I thought to myself, what would I say to her? I mean, I have a lot to say but in the moment, I just couldn’t think of anything. My brain froze for a good 30 seconds there and I thought I was gonna pass out.
Four hours of sleep. No food. No water. I would do it again for Oprah Winfrey. Meeting her today was an honour. Such an inspirational woman!
Thank you to Canadian Tire for the free tickets! This was an experience of a lifetime for me. Meeting Oprah has been a dream of mine since as long as I can remember. So grateful right now!

Spring runways were more colourful than a Cirque du Soleil performance this year. Solid prints, bold colour-blocking and the softer colour pallets are perfect for this sunny/rainy season.
The bright greens, oranges and yellows make simple dressing look glam. Stick to no more than three shades when colour-blocking and to avoid looking tacky and over-the-top. Unless you’re Lady Gaga. Then all is forgiven.
As for the PRINTS, they are vibrant, swirling, styled-head-to-toe patterns that sashayed down the spring 2012 runways. Love the oversize florals, mirror like geometry shapes and the futuristic prints.
But if bold and bright is not your thing, go for a low-key, ladylike vibe with sweet sorbet shades and pastel hues.
These Alexander Wang Dakota lace-up boots are a must have this season. I love the subtle tangerine shade which can be paired beautifully with pastels.
One of my favourite looks this season is the tie-dye jeans. Adds a little extra something for those who don’t wear a lot of colour. And the pairing with the neon shoe lace and a tangerine purse? Love it!

I have a love for collared shirts and blouses. That’s basically what the majority of my wardrobe consists of. I like them because they’re simple yet fancy enough to wear to a party and casual enough to wear to an interview or a meeting. They just work!
I have seen a lot of embellished collars lately. I can’t even begin to explain how much I love them!
The spiked studs, the beading, and the sequins are just phenomenal!
Here are a few I picked out from Zara!
The blouse with the sequinned collar is classic! I love how it’s neatly embellished on rather than just bunched all over.
Price – $69.90
The beaded Peter Pan collar is one of my favourites. It’s a lot more feminine and can easily be added on to any shirt or blouse.
Price – $59.90
The studio shirt with the studded collar is tres magnifique! I like how the studs aren’t spiked for once.
Price – $119.90
This blouse with appliqué and lace is just precious. I love the Peter Pan collared outline embellished with lace. Effortlessly beautiful.
Price – $69.90

The plain sweater with the long fine pleat skirt and double silver cuffs — it’s the perfect fit.
I have been meaning to add this skirt to my wardrobe but don’t know which one to get!
Here are the three that I found at Zara:
This long fine pleat skirt is just lovely! It’s a much more casual skirt that can be worn with a simple coloured sweater. I’d probably pair it with a cream or beige coloured one.
Price – $99.90
This long fine pleat skirt is a lot more flirty because of the slit. I really like the lace top pairing with it.
Price – $59.90
I am in love with this long tulle swiss dot skirt. I especially adore the precious black lace design. I’m most likely going to get this one because, well, it’s more me! The more lace the merrier!
Price – $69.90

If you take a look at my wardrobe, I don’t own a lot of colour which tends to be rather boring. But I have recently fallen in love with prints. They totally add that extra spunk to a boring old white blouse or a cream chiffon skirt.
Who says black and white is boring? I am obsessed with this top. The print itself is a work of art and the simple gold accessories dress it up very nicely.
These printed pants are just divine. I don’t own printed pants at the moment because I haven’t found “the one”, but similar to these would be nice. As for the colour, black and white of course!
Animal print nails? Not my thing however these are rather cute! What can I say… I like my sparkles!
If you’re interested in purchasing some prints to add to your wardrobe, check out the Marni for H&M collection.

Just came across some gorgeous Alexander McQueen!
These hot pink suede ankle booties are to die for. Almond toe. Concealed zip closure at inner ankle. Tone on tone stitching. A leather sole.
These chunky suede peep-toe pumps have stolen my heart. I especially adore the Swarovski studded gold tone skull.
A snake skin knuckle box clutch? Yes please! I love the gold tone trim and snake, skull & horn carry detail at front.
If you’re interested in purchasing any of these products, I found this awesome new website that sells these and many other designer products like Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent and Jeffrey Campbell to name a few, at a discounted rate.
Check out SSENSE!
